Rose Goyette, General Manager and Catering Coordinator
Rose has been with the company since its’ inception in 1991. Her hands on approach, sense of humour, calm professionalism and overall knowledge of the inner workings of Thyme and Again has earned her the position of General Manager.
Guillermo Muñoz, Executive Chef
Guillermo was born in Papudo, Chile. At age 18 he traveled to Santiago to study gastronomy, and then worked at the Sheraton. With over 20 years of experience in the kitchen he has operated the award winning restaurant Latitude 42, receiving Frommer’s tourist guide highest rating.
Kylie Anglesey, Executive Pastry Chef
Kylie oversees a bakery department staff of 6 full time staff. Kylie is also a working chef and personally attends large catered functions to execute the “sweet” component of the menu. Kylie is a graduate of the Stratford Chef School. Kylie’s recent functions at Thyme and Again included the design and delivery of an exceptional dessert table for the opening of the second airport expansion.
Paul Thompson, Sous Chef
Paul has been with Thyme and Again since 2001 and joined us from The Green Door. Starting off as a prep cook with a desire to learn and the ability to reach further, he has quickly climbed the ladder in our company. Paul has successfully lead our off site kitchen catering team where he continues to be a key player, and was the kitchen manager/chef at Encore Café, before taking up the permanent role of Sous Chef.
Sandra Saikaly, Catering Coordinator
Sandra is the day to day contact with the staff in Housing Services, Conventions and Reservations. Sandra has been with our company since 2001. She presently manages most of our functions for the University of Ottawa. Sandra has planned and executed many catering functions from small 20 person dinners to banquets for 500 people. Just recently, Sandra co-ordinated all aspects of our catering services for the Ottawa International Jazz Festival. Sandra also coordinates all of the staffing and logistics for our catering functions. Sandra Saikaly is Trilingual – English, French and Lebanese.
Bridget McLean, Catering Coordinator
Bridget has been with the Thyme and Again since 1995. In that time she has worked with hundreds of couples to create the wedding of their dreams. As well as being the principle wedding planner she has worked with the Ottawa Business Community, Political Offices, Universities and Fundraising Organizations on events such as the Viennese Opera Ball, Elmwood School Fundraisers, University of Ottawa – Heart Institute events, award ceremonies, car launches, grand openings, Christmas parties and celebrations of all kinds. Many of Bridget’s clients appreciate her friendly, professional approach to their event and her attention to detail. Bridget feels lucky to work with a team of professionals who are always willing to brainstorm to take a client’s vision from a dream to reality.
Diane Goodwin, Catering Coordinator
Diane brings with her twenty five years of food industry knowledge and expertise. Her experience is broad ranging from restaurant/hotel food service and management to food styling, presentation and education for television. She has been with Thyme and Again just over a year now and is quickly adjusting to the fast paced ever changing environment of the company. Diane currently sits on Algonquin College’s Culinary Advisory Committee. In her position at Thyme and Again, Diane oversees and manages the General Catering inquiries desk in our office and has managed projects from small home cocktail functions to larger corporate sit down events.
Stephanie Craze, Exposure Gallery Events Coordinator
Stephanie joined our team in May 2003. She brought with her a solid knowledge of office administration and marketing skills as well as training in all aspects of the food industry giving her the opportunity to wear many hats at Thyme and Again. While she used her skills to become one of our highly successful catering coordinators before taking two maternity leaves – she has now returned to provide organizational strength and support to our office team and to manage and oversee all events in our Exposure Gallery.
Jennifer Crossman, Marketing & Community Outreach/Retail Merchandise Manager
Jennifer joined our team in 2007 in the position of merchandising manager. It wasn’t long before we figured out her many strengths and areas of expertise and expanded on her job duties and description. From assisting our retail department manager to providing support in all aspects to our whole team she now heads up our Marketing and Community Outreach and provides tremendous support in the selection and coordination of all artists and their work featured in our Exposure Gallery.
